Instagram announces the changelog of the recently pushed updates to their Android and iOS app in their official blog. This new build becomes one of longest leapfrogs of the app in terms of photo-sharing features since the inclusion of the in-app editing tools and video sharing update.
The app’s version 6.4 for
iOS and 6.12 in Android are both available today with five new filters for you
to try: Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua. I have tried updating my app
and I was delighted to see the new offerings on the first five of the filter
list.
It is also of equal
important to note that you can now have static previews at the bottom pane of
the app. This should give you the idea of the kind of blur the filter will
superimpose to your photos.
On the other hand, the
slow-motion video sharing is also a welcome feature that will give you a
different pointing-and-shooting experience using the app.
You can now download and update the new version of the app
in both App Store and Google Play for free.
