How to upgrade your HTC One M8, One Max and Desire 816's Google Drive space to 100GB for free

HTC is beefing up the Google Drive support for the new users of its current devices. If you have the Taiwanese company's current phones, you could double your space in Google's cloud storage.



For those of you who're rocking the new HTC One M8, HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 610 and HTC One Max, you can now upgrade to 100 GB storage by following the steps below.


Step 1: Pull-up the pre-installed Google Drive app in your device.

Step 2: Hit REDEEM once you're prompted

Step: Follow succeeding steps and you're good to go.

Other handsets like the HTC One M7, Butterfly S, Desire 601 and One Mini will also receive an upgrade to 25GB after their respective HTC Sense 5+ and Sense 6 updates.

The service will have a two-year subscription.
