Everyone knows that Apple
is gearing up for two iPhone release this year. First one is the new generation
iPhone 6 that will quench our thirst for a significant bump in terms of screen
real estate. Reports claim that the newer generation iPhone will have an
acceptable 4.7-inch display. The other one crosses the phablet territory with
5.5-inch screen size. And in the light of the buzz with regards to these
iPhones, the most sizable variant will come later with a new branding – the
iPhone Air.
Yes, sources claim that
that the phablet iPhone will have an “Air” moniker given that, from the design
perspective, these devices will be modelled with the latest iPad mini 2 and
iPad Air. The newer phones will have thin bezels and curved edges. With the
thinner and svelte design philosophy of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6, the “Air”
branding might justify the claim.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is
slated to be announced this September. We want to have its phablet counterpart
alongside its release, but that might not be the case. Considering the fact
that its components and parts are very elusive at this point, we could assume
that it’ll come later than the September release.
