Kata F1 and Kata T Mini smartphones to officially launch in the Philippines soon


Kata digital, a brand based in Hongkong and Philippines, brought home two new surprises dubbed as “Kata F1” and Kata T Mini.



Kata F1 sports 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display and runs on 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor with Mali-400 GPU. It makes use of 512MB of RAM and powered by Android KitKat (v4.4.2).

Memory wise, it comes with 4GB built-in memory that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot. It’s also equipped with 8MP rear camera with LED flash together with 5MP front shooter. Other specs include 3G connectivity, dual-SIM functionality, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 1550mAh Li-ion battery.

Kata F1’s full specifications were obtained in Kata Digital facebook page. As to the price, it will probably cost around Php4500 (HKD790)  base on the Owtel Shop HK price. Meanwhile, there’s no mention yet as to the specs and price of Kata T Mini. OWTEL is the developer and owner of the Kata brand. 

The latest smartphones will be officially launched on June 27, 2014 at 4PM in SM City Manila Event Center. Kata will be giving cool prizes to lucky participants of the unboxing event.
