Acer Liquid X1 announced: 5.7-inch LTE octa-core smartphone


The Acer Liquid X1 is now official. The device was announced in Computex 2014 together with flock of other devices that includes the company's first wearable Smartband. All these, will be available by third quarter of this year. In the meantime, the spotlight goes to the 5.7-inch phablet.


The phone is loaded with adorable features which spell nice performance and good productivity. Hardware-wise, the Liquid X1 packs a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT692 processor, Mali-450MP quad-core graphic proccessor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. 


The Taiwanese-American company will also have a legit screen with 720x1280p display (258ppi). Liquid X1 is also LTE-capable smartphone and will have 2700mAh battery to back it up. Retail price for this device is still unknown.
