Cherry Mobile Flame 2.0 officially released: 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 4.5-inch screen, 1GB RAM, Jelly Bean at Php 6,999

In line with the Omega HD announcement, Cherry Mobile also unveils their first-ever quad-core phone called the Flame 2.0. Just like its predecessor, Flame 2.0 will pack a 4.5-inch qHD display with OGS Technology. It'll be retailed at Php 6,999.

And in line with the rumors, it's a rebranded Karbonn S1 Titanium. Most of the specs are showstoppers - 1GB RAM, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). However, it fails to deliver an ample battery life with 1600 mAh. With it being a quad-core and dual-SIM device, the said battery will definitely give you a little time away from your charging stations.

Completing the specs are the 4GB internal memory (up to 32GB expansion option) and 5MP rear camera (VGA front-facing). Features like The Picture-in-Picture function which simultaneously take front and rear pictures or videos , and One Glass Solution where the sensor is placed directly below the glass panel were stressed by Cherry Mobile.

Availability will be this April together with the Cherry Mobile Omega HD. Check out the rest of the specs below.
