Samsung releases Galaxy Camera WiFi: 16.3 MP, 4.8-inch screen, 1.4GHz quad-core CPU and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)

Samsung releases a cheaper version of its Galaxy Camera. The Galaxy Camera (WiFi) is deprived of the the cellular capability to make the price cheaper than the original snapper. Good idea right?

The newer version still have the guns of the existing Galaxy Camera. This includes the 16.3 MP CMOS sensor and 21x optical zoom. The display however is slightly bumped up to 4.8-inch making a great picture-friendly device out of your old camera.

"Like the original GALAXY Camera, the GALAXY Camera (Wi-Fi) combines high performance photographic features with Android™ 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, making shooting, enjoying, editing and sharing images from a single device easier than ever before," Samsung pointed out in a press release.
For specs-centered geeks, it'll run in a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The price and availability of this gadget is still to be determined.
