Samsung gearing up for a Galaxy Note 8.0, to debut in MWC 2013

Being one of the pioneers in the mini-tablet department, Samsung is gearing up with the new device that will join its successful Note series. This time, it's gunning the latest iPad mini of Apple. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will grace the mid-range tablet category with its sought-after S-Pen.

This device will certainly fill the gap between the 5.5-inch phablet and the full-pledge 10.1-inch tablet. The Note 8.0 is pegged to have an 8-inch Super Clear LCD display with 1280x800 resolution and will carry the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean according to SamMobile.

The heart of the device will be powered by the 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos 4112 procesor that will keep every tasks of the would-be buyers in a smooth transition. Apart from the CPU, it will have a massive 2GB of RAM just like its 10.1 brother. However, 16GB and 32GB configurations will be the only options that we could consider.

For mobile photographers, a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front snapper is up for your usage. As for the battery, the 4600 mAh will make things working in an ample time.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is expected to be unveiled in Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain next month. Price and availability will be determined thereafter.
