LG Mobile revamped their current flagship into a 5-inch Optimus G Pro. After analysts predicted that LG will overtake Apple into the 2nd spot in the US market, they are now ready to conquer the international scene with this beefed-up brother of the Nexus 4.
Fast-forwarding through the specs, this HTC Butterfly-rival will have a 1.7 GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 320 graphic-player under its belt. Tagging this device with a "Pro" makes us think that LG has realized the winning naming scheme in its handsets since named the succession of their smartphones after the Optimus G line (Samsung has the Galaxy S). Notwithstanding that there is a rumor of the Korean-company making another flagship handset name Optimus G2.
Anyways, other essentials include a 2GB of RAM, 13 MP rear shooter and 2.4MP front camera. It is packed with a monstrous 3000 mAh battery to give you a good run outdoors. Likewise, the 32GB internal storage with a 32GB expansion is also a good catch. It'll run with Android 4.1.2 (Jellybean) out of the box but expected to have a 4.2 update this year.
The pricing and availability deets are scarce at the moment, but I am confident that this beauty will hit the country in late Q1 or early Q2.
