It seems like Google has
"tiptoed-ly" launched a sneak attack to iOS and Windows Phone by launching the
newest Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update. The refresh is rolling out all over
the world for the Google Nexus 7, so expect the other Nexus devices and
Motorola Xoom to receive the delight.
Conventionally, the update promises to fix some
bugs and boost performance. However, it is a breath of fresh air to know that
Nexus 7 can now have a landscape orientation in either lockscreen and
homescreen.
Aside from the said tweaks,
Google gave limited information about future Android updates. But Google Groups
advices those Nexus 7 owners to update to 4.1.2 as soon as possible. File size
is 31.3 MB.
