Sony Mobile Philippines said that the NXT (Next Generation Android Phone) Series is official, Sony Xperia S, will be available in the Philippines after the Holy Week for Php 27,990. The price is somewhat expected for a flagship Android device.
For those who are living in the rock these days, Sony has bought-out the mobile franchise from the defunct Sony Ericsson and released the new generation NXT Xperia Series. The flagship, Sony Xperia S, will run in 1.5 GHz dual-core Android 2.3 with highest mobile pixel density in the pool of mobile devices. The 4.3-inch screen will be a perfect display for the pictures taken from its 12MP shooter (f/2.4 Sensor with Exmor R Technology).
Items that will come out of the box aside from the handset itself are the Smart Tags (NFC Token), screen protector, fast charger (capable of 10-minute charging for 1 hour of talk time) and an HDMI cable. Smart tags are proximity device that is bundled with information for your phone to execute when it comes near it. Example, opening an app when you come near a Smart tag. Isn’t that amazing?
