LG announces LG Optimus Vu, a 5-inch squarish handset

LG Optimus line announces the LG Optimus Vu that is up and running for the “Not-A-Smartphone-Not-Yet-A-Tablet” title versus the Samsung Galaxy Note. This device sports a squared frame of 5-inch display that is quite essential for reading e-books, browsing and composing documents.

Optimus Vu comes with a unique 1024 x 768 resolution that gives a 4:3 display instead of the usual 16:9 or 16:10, this makes the device looks wider compared to the 5.3-inchGalaxy Note. This also leads to the realization that a 5-inch display would be a great size for smartphone category in the future.

Nothing has been said about the price so far, but LG Optimus Vu will sure hit MWC later this month. Check out specs below.
