The Smart-Sun (PLDT-Digitel) merger promises better deals to both Smart and Sun subscribers as it launches its first ever post-merger deal, the Smart-Sun Dual Plan 549! 

In line with tagging themselves as the new leader in Postpaid, Smart-Sun tandem offers Smart’s highly-received Unli Plan 349 and an Add-On Sun Plan that offers unlimited texts to both networks as a Christmas limited edition deal. This includes a free Nokia C2-03 dual-SIM (dual-standby) handset. Plus, the deal comes with 2 hours of free calls to smart numbers using Smart Sim and 3 Hours of free calls using Sun.

But this plan comes with these certain points to consider:

• You can only use your unlimited text within the same network. Smart to Smart or Sun to Sun. It also goes the same with free calls.
• You will receive two billing statements per month, one from Sun and one from Smart
• You can only apply for this dual plan as a new subscriber (no upgrades)
