Google Nexus S to roll out Ice Cream Sandwich updates

Google begins to roll out Ice Cream Sandwich to its Nexus S as previously reported. Likewise, Google is only gradually giving out updates to all the Nexus S devices with the latest version of the Android OS. The time frame of the update has not been distinguished yet, but Google Nexus official Twitter account says that the update will be in the “coming month”.

The version is actually the Android 4.0.3. The update is, however, available for GSM/UMTS version of the Nexus S (that means that Philippines could be in the update list). The CDMA version is yet to be announced.

This is an OTA (over-the-air) update, so we could expect to have a notifications in our Nexus S once the update has been released. But if you just can't wait to get a bite of the ICS, you can follow these instructions on how to do the update yourself.
