The realme C25S is the refreshed version of the popular smartphone from last year. It shows the company's conscious effort in bringing a more powerful hardware into its hero devices for entry-level gaming. The new model now packs a MediaTek Helio G85 gaming processor and the sparkling new realme UI 2.0 software out-of-the-box.

realme C25S Unboxing
The realme C25S box is still having the familiar yellow situation with black accents. Opening it, you'll be greeted by a packet which contains the transparent case that is smoked in a grayish tint, SIM ejector tool, and some documentations. Underneath, we have the main unit wrapped in plastic. Digging further, we'll see the USB-C cable and the power adapter.
For some obvious reasons, we don't have earphones in here. I think it's just right since realme is positioning this handset in the entry-level gaming segment. In fact, realme says that this unit has the same introductory price as the realme C25. If you need some accessories for audio, you can choose from a variety of realme products in their AIoT line.
Design
The realme C25S features a dual-textured back with a vertical stripe flushed on the left side. This stripe has a finer texture than the rest of the back panel. This is also the section where the realme logo is printed in 90-degree orientation.
We have the Water Blue color for our unit, and we think that it's a cross between light blue and grayish tone which I personally love. There's also a Water Gray variant which seems to be a darker tone of the Water Blue hue.
The overall finish registers to be matte; it also has rounded corners. For these reasons, the handset is easy to use and does not slip easily on the hands. It's not a fingerprint magnet which is also a big deal.
We still have a squarish camera module that houses three cameras and one LED flash. The rear camera is defined by the 48MP main shooter. There are also two 2MP sensors, for macro and bokeh.
The rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is zippy when unlocking the phone. Its placement at the rear panel is easy to reach, even if you have small hands.
Display: Same Capable Screen
Flipping the realme C25S, you'll see the front panel with a water-drop display. It is still a 6.5-inch in diameter and packs a 720 x 1600p resolution. We think that this is the same quality of LCD from last year's model which comes with a typical 480-nit brightness. Pictures are still sharp and full of details, with texts being crisp and legible.
We have an 8MP sensor for the selfie camera. realme says that it is capable of up to 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Helio G85 Chipset, 6000 mAh Battery
The Helio G85 chipset is a popular entry-level gaming chipset. It is manufactured in 12nm process, and is well-known for its speed and battery efficiency. And speaking of battery, we still have the 6000 mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging.
realme C25S availability
There are two configurations of the realme C25S in the country. The 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at PHP 8,490. You can also settle with the 4GB + 64GB variant for a more affordable asking price of PHP 7,490. The realme C25S will be available in Shopee starting June 15, 2021.
