LG G7 ThinQ officially debuts in the Philippines in an exclusive media event in Yes Please, Bonifacio Global City. It is strategically priced at Php 42,990 for the base model – 4GB RAM and 64GB memory. The handset sticks out among the pile of smartphones with its 6.1-inch Super Bright LCD all-screen display, Boombox Speaker, Snapdragon 845 and Android 8.0 Oreo. LG also highlights the AI capability of the smartphone tagging it under the company’s “ThinQ” line.

The LG G7 ThinQ also boasts with a dual 16MP camera setup with f/1.9 and f/1.6 apertures. One of which is a wide-angle camera which could capture a wider frame. LG also upgraded the front camera to an 8MP sensor. The cameras are capable of “machine learning.” This means that LG G7 ThinQ has the ability to categorize subjects and automatically adjusts shooting presets for better camera output. The Super Bright Mode is the smartphone’s capability to capture photos and recognize subjects in low-light environment.
LG G7 ThinQ frames a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision Super Bright Display with 3120 x 1440p resolution and 564ppi. The screen also comes with 19.5 x 9 aspect ratio. Depending on the type of content, the display can be set to six different viewing modes: Auto, Eco, Cinema, Sports, Game and Expert.
The handset features a physical button located on the left side of the phone. One press will pull up Google Assistant while two presses will launch the Google Lens. Likewise, you can also hold down the button to talk to Google Assistant which can recognize your voice commands from up to five meters away.
