Asus Zenfone 5 is set to be announced this month in Mobile World Congress. It is rumored earlier that the new generation of ZenFones will be ahead of its supposed annual announcement. The new series is expected to be unveiled on February 27 in Barcelona, Spain.

The ASUS ZenFone 5 family of smartphones was hinted with the #BackTo5 countdown page in the company's official page. It's also worth-noting that we already had an ASUS ZenFone 5 (A500CG) smartphone way back in 2014. Thus, the #BackTo5 hashtag made sense.
