Home posts 70 percent market share in Q3 of 2015 which widens the gap to its
nearest competitor. The leading digital service provider highlights the record-breaking subscriber gains of three times more than Globe's fixed broadband service.

Likewise, the
company also posted double-digit growth in digital services wherein it offers
several innovative home devices like the PLDT Home TelPad (tablet, landline and
broadband bundle), Triple Play service (Cignal TV, Broadband and landline
bindle) and the popular FamCam home monitoring system.

HOME continues to strengthen its leadership with more digital services via the
Connected Home,” said PLDT and Smart EVP
and Head of Consumer Business Ariel P. Fermin. “The fixed line subscriber base
reached about 2.3 million at the end of the third quarter of 2015, 54% of whom
have fixed broadband subscriptions.”
In
Q3 2015, PLDT HOME introduced its video-on-demand partner iFlix which will also
be bundled with Home's broadband subscription. Aside from iFlix, PLDT also
partnered with FOX International Channels to feed Cignal's existing portfolio.
To
bolster the existing line-up, PLDT is now offering the QuadPlay. This service
is just like the existing Triple Play with the addition of mobile services from
the company's wireless arm, Smart Communications. In short, you'll have a Home
DSL Broadband, a landline, a Cignal Digital TV and a smartphone courtesy of
Smart.

service will reinforce the trusted benefits of PLDT HOME brands as we offer our
customers a one-stop shop for all their communications and multimedia needs to
enable them to experience a richer digital lifestyle in a connected home,”
added PLDT HOME Marketing Head Gary Dujali.
PLDT
stresses that it has the most extensive fiber optic backbone in the country
which covers 100,000 kilometers. This powers their reliable digital services in
the country.
