Cherry Mobile posted on its Facebook page that it'll bring a rain pour of OTA (over-the-air) updates for selected Cherry handsets soon. This marks the very first OTA update that the local fruit company has ever released.
To check the update, try hitting your System Software app and be sure you're connected in the internet to receive the update. After opening the app, you will be asked to check the latest software package. Then upon clicking on "Yes," your system will fetch for updates.
It's also advisable that your battery is fully-charged so that you'll have a simultaneous download for the update. And as an SOP, you should back-up your data and update at your own risk. Check if your handset is eligible for the said software update below.
