Windows Phone 7.8 update now rolling to Nokia Lumia 900, 800, 710, 610 and 510

The release of Windows Phone 8 last year comes with the news incompatibility with the older 7.x devices. The likes of Nokia 900 and 800 users was disappointed because the roadmap for their devices werei stucked in the Windows 7.x category. The compromise of an upgrade to Windows 7.8 has been promised to those users, and now it's here.



Finnish giant, Nokia, has started rolling out the 7.8 updates to eligible devices. The Windows Phone 7.8 update will give you a few aethethics that could be comparable to the Windows Phone 8. The resizing of homescreen's live tiles is a one major leap for the old 7.5 Mango interface.

The roll-out has started and it will run in a couple of weeks. So if you have devices like Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800 and 900, you could have started to check updates in your notifications. Afterwhich, you will be required to hook up in your computer to go throught the update.
