Asus FonePad is officially out: 7-inch IPS HD screen, Intel Atom Z2420 CPU, 1.3MP front camera, Android Jelly Bean

World trusted manufacturer in mobile computing, Asus, has gunned its new Nexus 7 inspired tablet with phone capability. The Asus FonePad is a versatile 7-inch slate with a 3G voice and mobile data capabilty.

On the contrary to other tablets, this tab is powered by the new Intel Atom Z2420 processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Viewing angles will be more enticing since its screen is treated with an IPS technology with a crisp 1280 x 720p HD display.

Fonepad configurations will come with 16GB in Europe and 8GB for Asia Pacific region. Plus, the expandable option will keep your gadget beefed up with games and contents. And just like the Nexus 7, it is equipped with a 1.3MP front facing camera for video chat. Other Asus proprietary softwares are also included like SonicMeter and MaxxAudio3.

Price is USD 249 (more or less Php 11K), basing on the Asus' marketing strategy, its most likely to hit the country. Will you grab this phablet?
