Lenovo A800 to hit the Philippines this month: 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 5MP camera, 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU and ICS at Php 6,999


Lenovo Philippines announces one of its most affordable handsets with a capable specifications at hand. The company has transcend from a portable computer manufacturer into a viable mobile player, especially here in the Philippines. This time, the Chinese-player is dealing with with non-expensive phones with in a high caliber feature category.

Anyways, the Lenovo A800 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with 480x854p resolution. Unlike the Cherry Mobile Flame (with the same screen size but qHD screen), this phone fell short to only FWVGA at 218 ppi pixel density. At the heart of Lenovo A800 is the dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor that is reinforced with a PowerVR SGX531 graphics chip.

In the memory arena, this newcomer contains 512MB of RAM to deal with all the busy tasks at hand. The 4GB internal memory storage is also an ample amount of memory for your multimedia files and other stuff. Expandability option is up to 32GB via microSD slot.

And we can tell that Lenovo poses a threat to all local manufacturers because A800 is also dual-SIM/dual-Standby handset. At the price of Php 6,999, this phone looks more premium than any other low-budget phones there is. It is expected to be available in the market at the of January.
