Karbonn S1 Titanium: Cherry Mobile Flare and Flame brother released with quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM and Android Jelly Bean

Few of you may know that your favorite Cherry Mobile Flare and Flame are rebranded Karbonn A9+ and A21 phones. Thanks to this manufacturer, we are experiencing affordable dual-core Androids thru Cherry Mobile ofcourse. Now, the Indian vendor has released a powerful quad-core device that runs with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), the Karbonn S1 Titanium.

The S1 Titanium works with a 1.2GHz processor under its hood and it's framed with a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display (just like Cherry Mobile Flame). This device will not get you shorthanded due to the fact that it's loaded up with 1GB of RAM to keep things smooth.

The standard 4GB Karbonn-internal memory is expandable up to 32GB. Mobile shooters will have the 5MP rear camera with flash and a VGA front snapper. Other specs includes dual-SIM support and the usual connectivity options.

The only thing I have in mind with this phone is that Karbonn didn't shed few deets about the battery. Being a quad-core and dual-SIM handset will demand a lot of power rating. Price is INR 10,900 or roughly Php 8,200. Of course, we'll have to see if Cherry Mobile will bring this handset to Philippines. What do you think?
