iPhone 5 coming to the Philippines this December 14th

Apple has announced today that its latest iteration of the ever popular handset, more famously known as the iPhone 5, will be released in more than 50 countries worldwide. Mark your date on the 14th of December because the Philippines is included in the list.

The iPhone 5 was originally released in September and rolled out to other regions worldwide. This 4-inch handset has sold more than 2 million units upon its 24-hour pre-order status and scored over 5 million units during its first weekend. This makes the sixth generation iPhone as the most anticipated smartphone in the country.

Major telecommunications companies are set to announce the availability of iPhone 5 to their line-up. Last year, both Smart and Globe had released the iPhone 4S on the same date of the Philippine launch. I am more interested with the postpaid and prepaid (if ever) pricing of this gorgeous handset that could brought up the whole iPhone 5 war in the local market.
