Huawei Ascend P1 released: 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 8MP camera and ICS

Meet the Ascend P1, a capable phone from the Huawei that sports 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. This smartphone is dubbed as the thinnest and sexiest handset from the Chinese giant so far.

Specs-wise, the phone is comparable to Galaxy S II, only thinner and lighter. It frames the whole hardware with angled edges that make it look stunning when held by hands.

The dual-core processor ticks in 1.5 GHz that is paired up with a gigabyte of RAM. Likewise, Flash storage is 4GB but, like most of the Chinese smartphones, you will have an expandable slot. You can snap high quality pictures using the 8MP BSI autofocus camera with dual-LED flash. Lastly, the non-removable battery will juice up with 1670mAh.

There’s nohing notable about the specs but this is a very competitive phone in the midrange market. So if you want to grab one, it’ll be available in the Philippines anytime next week with Php 19,890 price tag.
