We know that Hurricane Sandy devastated the East Coast of the United States which caused Google to cancel their October 29 event, but that doesn’t stop its downpour of Nexus devices and new Android OS update. This time, they made the heavily-leaked LG Nexus 4 official.

The LG-manufactured smartphone succeeds the Galaxy Nexus in the Big G’s line of devices. With the stunning 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, LG Nexus 4 offers a retina-ish (forgive me for using the name) and crispy visuals at 320ppi (1280 x 768 pixels). It boasts a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor and dubbed as the fastest in the market…so far. Design-wise, LG Nexus 4 is similar to Optimus G and not far from its Nexus brothers. It still has the curved-class display. Back side sports a glass surface.

Under the hood, it’ll juice up to 10 hours of talk time with the 2100mAh battery. RAM is also beefed-up with 2GB capacity. Ofcourse, we have NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi and HSPA+ for your connectivity options, no LTE here. It will also come with the latest flavor of Android Jelly Bean 4.2 out-of-the-box.
We go to the optics, the Nexus 4 has a 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera. One great thing about the camera is that it has superb low-light shooting capabilities. Moreover, the LG Nexus 4 is the first ever device that offers 360-degree Panorama shots.

The LG Nexus 4 will come in non-expandable 8GB and 16GB variants. The handset is also capable of wireless charging technology. And as I’ve said before, it’ll be fused with Android 4.2 which promises bug fixes and enhancement from the old Android 4.1.x.

The LG Nexus 4 will be available on November 13th with $299 and $349 price tag for 8GB and 16GB variants respectively.
