Samsung releases Galaxy phone with QWERTY hardware, the Samsung Galaxy Chat

How would you want to have a Samsung Galaxy phone with QWERTY keypad? Your curiosity maybe satisfied with the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Chat. It’s an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) candybar handset that will serve all the chat-lovers out there.

Ofcourse, Samsung’s TouchWiz interface will also be out of the box, skinning the whole 3.0-inch screen with its thumb-friendly hardware. It measures 118.9 x 59.3 x 117 mm with a four-row hardware QWERTY underneath. Furthermore, this entry-level handset will include a 2MP shooter, 4GB built-in storage, microSD slot, USB 2.0, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.

What made this phone even more amazing is that it sports a Nature UX Layer that is similar to the Galaxy S III. ChatON is also pre-installed with a dedicated shortcut button. Plus, it is also bundled with Quick Office which would be ideal for MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint users.

The handset will be available in Spain this July, followed in regions of Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia and Southwest Asia.
