Nokia 808 PureView to be released in Europe and Aisa this month, flashes 41MP camera sensor

The scene-stealer in the last Mobile World Congress in Nokia’s line-up, the Nokia 808 Pureview, will be launched in Asia and Europe this month. This monster camera-phone packs a 41 MP, yes you’re reading it right 41 MP camera sensor – a feature that could beat most of the entry level DSLR cameras.
Likewise, this handset is expected to hit the Philippines anytime in June or early July. Speaking of the camera, it is 5MP by default but does an “oversampling” – 8 pixels from the sensor are combined into a single pixel of the image. Thus, zooming up to 3X of the picture will preserve its quality and sharpness. Furthermore, video recording can even zoom 4X with 1080p resolution. Other options include 3MP and 8MP allowing you to zoom in photos. Or you can just combine all the pixels by having 38 MP in the photo. That’s quite impressive for a camera phone.
Other features include 4 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display (360X640 resolution). It is the fastest among all the Nokia handsets that has been infused with Symbian Belle operating system with 1.3 GHz single-core processor. The price would come upon the official announcement.
