LG reinvents handset design to L-Style Identity, to release 3 new handsets in MWC

LG strategically diverts to L-Style design for the Optimus line as they releases 3 new handsets running in ICS before the Mobile World Congress (MWC). LG will prompt the consumer electronics in MWC that the L-Style identity will be their edge against the competition. They believe that this new design will give them “finer details” that will highlight them in the stream of smartphone lines.

According to LG, the L-Design Philosophy will establish “Modern Square Style” for comfortable grip, “Floatong Mass Technology” for slimmer look, “Seamless Layout” for intuitive key arrangement, “Harmonized Design Contrast” for more metallic accents and “Sensuous Slim Shape” to draw attention.

The pioneering batch of new L-Design handsets will be the Optimus L3, with a 3.2-inch display, will first launch in Europe this March. This smartphone will be followed by two other devices in the first half of the year running Android 4.0 Ice CreamSandwich: Optimus L5 with a 4.0-inch display and Optimus L7 featuring a 4.3-inch screen. The availability of the handsets will be announced after the MWC event happening this month.
