Torque unveils 3 new Android phones, the cheapest of its kind yet


When all we know that Cherry Mobile is the only local Android player in the country, we find ourselves wrong due to the fact that its competitor, Torque, is catching up for an Androidrelease. And when we say “catching up release,” we’re not referring to one handset only but three --- DROIDZ Glee, DROIDZ Mate and DROIDZ Match.

DROIDZ Glee is a dual-sim Android 2.2 (FroYo) infused phone. The storage of which can hit up to 32GB and the 1.3MP shooter won’t keep you hanging when it comes to capturing your precious moments. This QuadBand phone is priced at Php 3,699.


DROIDZ Mate is a 3.2-incher with dual-sim (dual-standby) capabilities which runs with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Moreover, it is expandable up to 32 GB with 2MP shooter. This gadget is very cheap in Php 4,999.


DROIDZ Match could be beast of the pack. It sports a 3.5-incher screen with HVGA Capacitive Touch Screen. The 5MP shooter is best for taking pictures. Likewise, it is expandable up to 32 GB and is also a dual-sim (dual-standby) device. This is infused with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. The price is Php 7,899.


So if you’re looking for Android phones that could deliver results without the expense of your pocket, atleast you can have Torque as an option.
