Philippines will be having a series of long weekends upon the entry of November. Malacañan Palace has declared November 7, as a Regular non-working holiday in observance to our Moslem brothers’ Eidul Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) under Proclamation No. 276. It is one of the two highly-celebrated Moslem feasts.
It has also been reported earlier that October 30 will be a special non-working holiday, prior to the November 1 regular holiday.
Those employees who will be required to work on the said dates will have their extra rates as mandated by the law.
