Reports had confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is just the same as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (which was dubbed as the best Android Tablet) but just 1.2” smaller. Highlighting it's thickness, well it's playing within 0.33 inch.
It is also safe to say that both tablets are indistinguishable in terms of their software capabilities because both are running in Honeycomb 3.1, refined by the Samsung’s TouchWiz UI ofcourse. Plus, the very reasonable 447 grams of weight-load won’t bother you if you carry it in one hand. Ofcourse, it also has this Super AMOLED 1280 x 80-resolution, so I guess it also has a similar form factor with the 10.1" older brother. It’s more metallic than plastic or Gorilla Glass, so that makes it very chic; and well hey, it’s Samsung!
Needless to say it’s the best if you’re looking for a mid-sized tablet, though you just have to be cool with the $469 (PHP 20,000). Specs and Review are coming so stay tuned.
