Sugar-coated singer, Katy Perry, scores another No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 Charts tying Michael Jackson’s record of Most Number of No.1 songs in an album with the rise of her latest, Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F), from her Teenage Dream Album.

In the 53-year history of billboard, she became the first female artist to wear the belt. Her sophomore album threw five consecutive No.1’s starting from the soon to be classic; California Girls (Ft. Snoop Dog) dated June 19, 2010 and stayed in the top for six weeks. The album title track, Teenage Dream, continued the winning streak for 2 weeks last September 18, 2010. Her first inspirational song to date, Firework, manage to spend four weeks on top (starting December 18,2010) and instantly became the 2010’s New Year Anthem in the radio here in the Philippines. The sexy-futuristic appeal of E.T. (Feat. Kanye West) reached the summit last April 9, and stayed there for 5 weeks. Her latest, Last Friday Night, will reach the apex on the week of August 27 this year.
                Jackson had the same feat with his album “Bad” in 1987-1988 with the following singles: I Just Can’t Stop Loving You, Loving You, The Way You Make Me Feel, Man in the Mirror and Dirty Diana.
